Gaëlle Foucault's thesis focuses on "The inconsistency of the Security Council's mechanism for referring situations to the International Criminal Court. A plea for the involvement of the United Nations General Assembly and the International Court of Justice." This thesis was completed under the joint supervision of Professor Isabelle Duplessis and Professor Amissi Melchiade Manirabona at the University of Montreal.
